BTW, if it wouldn't be too much of a problem, is it possible to make them dyeable? Making them match my PC's hair would be cool if it can be done.

Big fat meh for the goggles, slightly smaller meh for the ears. It really shows that they put all their time and effort into the paid costumes.

The new headgear looks nice. Not really fitting my character's style, but still much nicer than many of the previously hats.

They both look pretty good. I'm personally glad we didnt get yet another facepaint (or another hideous oversized mask that nobody will wear for more than 3 hours today). Only problem with these is that many characters have hairstyles that don't really go with them (buns, pigtails, etc make them look odd).

I like that they're accessories and not full masks. The masks are very hard to wear again without feeling a bit too ludicrous. I think the costumes for sure got the best piece of new content. I wish they had actually finished up the quest chain to have some meaning, it feels like it should have led to something awesome and didn't.

The cat ears look good on some characters, and they look like crap on others. Ah well, I've got 'em for my collection.

More like getting crap with the expectation from years past to be getting something halfway decent. yeah, it's free, but it's lame nonetheless.

Festival takes place in Lion's Arch and Kamadan, not Cantha. And do a search for "cat ears" and over half the pictures are anime. I've also never seen flight goggles worn by characters as prominently as in anime. I agree that it's more steampunk, but that's also a prominent Anime genre.
